I have been thinking of creating this laptop bottom pictures database for a long time. Finally, I found time to do so. My goal is to publish all the laptop bottom pictures from my large collection of manuals. Why it is important or useful to have such a database? I consider laptop bottom - underside pictures like laptop fingerprints. Manufacturers tend to use different model names for similar laptops for different regions, for various customer groups or other marketing objectives. Sometimes even you can find identical laptops originating from the same OEM under the different brands. From a technician’s point of view, it is very helpful to recognize similar models for finding the appropriate manuals or for ordering the right parts.
